Empowerment is baked into our DNA at Tropic, making up one of the three pillars in our Infinite Purpose to help create a healthier, greener, more empowered world.
This year, International Women's Day falls during one of our most important Ambassador events, so as patrons of The King’s Trust Women Supporting Women Initiative, we're donating all ticket sales to its Change a Girl’s Life campaign.
This campaign gives young women facing adversity the help they need to get back on their feet and into work. The Trust has helped over 3,000 young women over the past five years, with 79% going on to further education, training, or work.
According to King’s Trust and TK Maxx Youth Index 2025 young women in the UK are facing unprecedented challenges. Over half feel anxious about their future on a daily basis, 57% feel embarrassed about being out of work and over a third feel a lack of self-confidence is the biggest barrier to achieving their career goals.
Tropic was founded by a woman, with a product her grandmother taught her how to make. Over the years, we've helped thousands of women supplement their income, support themselves and create a life by design and 70% of our HQ colleagues are women.
We believe in women, and their right to live life on their own terms no matter where in the world they from. That's why we donate 10% of our profits towards good causes close to our hearts, including organisations specifically focused on supporting, uplifting and empowering women. This includes funding over 7 million school days with UWS, and building four schools, which help girls in remote communities all over the world access vital education.
That means every time you shop with Tropic, you're helping women and girls in the UK, Cambodia, Nepal, Madagascar and beyond overcome barriers and build brighter futures. Now that's doing good beyond beauty.
Together, we can Change a Girl's Life and continue doing good beyond beauty.
