10% For The World

We donate 10% of our profits to charities and good causes - here's how.

At Tropic, we’re a force for good beyond beauty. We donate 10% of all our profits to charities and good causes that share our mission of creating a healthier, greener, more empowered world. So, with every order you place, you’re making real change happen. That’s beauty that looks good, feels good, does good.

We’re proud to donate more of our profits than ever before to an array of inspiring charities and good causes. From funding education for children in the world’s poorest, most remote regions with United World Schools, to growing climate-resilient coral reefs with Reef Restoration Foundation, and stopping UK hunger with the Trussell Trust.

Funding Education

Education empowers children, equipping them with the tools they need to write a brighter future, secure better jobs, and access higher incomes. That’s why we’re working with UWS, who share our belief that if we educate the future, we change the future.

UWS work in local communities around the globe to give children access to free education. To date we’ve funded over 6 million days of education and just opened our third Tropic school, in remote Madagascar. Watch the film to see how your Tropic purchase really makes a difference.

Our Impact

  • Our donations go towards safe school buildings, with plenty of room for every child who wants to attend.
  • Teachers who have been trained to deliver a high-quality education. Classroom essentials, such as desks, chairs, and whiteboards.
  • School libraries bursting with books, to encourage a love of literacy.
  • Clean water, bathrooms, and health lessons to ensure students are fit and healthy to learn.

"10% of our profits go to good causes which put people and planet first, leading the way in considered and considerate beauty"

Reef Restoration Foundation

As part of our 10% of profits pledge, we support Reef Restoration Foundation in Cairns, Australia.

The not-for-profit social enterprise works to regenerate damaged reefs by establishing new, climate-resilient coral nurseries.

Together, we’re on a mission to protect the Great Barrier Reef (the world’s largest living structure), and the 9,000 species that depend on the incredible habitat.

We're Turning the Tide

Our support has allowed Reef Restoration Foundation to expand their operations and grow a new coral nursery at Moore Reef, thirty miles east of Cairns, Australia.

"Reef Restoration Foundation is building a movement in our community that is galvanised around making a difference at the level of the individual – the Power of One. We are growing corals at an accelerated rate to fight the loss of biodiversity on coral reefs through frequent disturbance. We do it through partnerships and it is through the leadership of companies like Tropic Skincare that we are able to do what we do."

Ryan Donnelly - CEO of Reef Restoration Foundation

We donated 10% of the profits from our 2022 Beauty Beneath collections to Reef Restoration Foundation. This money is helping to grow a Tropic nursery of climate-resilient baby coral on the Great Barrier Reef.

Pride in London

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Pride in London – a charity whose values of visibility, unity and equality are at the very heart of Tropic too.

Together, we’re helping to create inclusive spaces, amplify LGBTQ+ voices, and ensure that Pride in London’s iconic parade and events remain accessible to all.

We’re also supporting the charity’s Unity Fund. This initiative distributes grants to grassroots organisations that improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people in the UK, every day and in times of crisis.

Forestry England

We were proud to become the very first member of Forestry England’s Future Forest Collective – an initiative focused on protecting our natural environment to help people, wildlife and nature thrive.

In 2022, we planted a Tropic forest of over 7,000 native and climate-resilient trees in Queen Elizabeth Country Park of the Hampshire South Downs, helping to replace over 20 hectares that were felled in 2019 due to ash dieback.

Growing trees, protecting rare heathlands and caring for our streams and freshwater sources means we can create more habitats for our precious wildlife to thrive in, as well as green spaces for the public to enjoy.

Filling Food Banks

We’ve teamed up with the Trussell Trust, a charity which supports a nationwide network of food banks. Now, every Tropic purchase helps to provide emergency food and support to people locked in the cycle of poverty.

What We've Achieved So Far

We’re honoured to have donated over £200,000 to the Trussell Trust since our partnership began, and this money will fund the operations of over 25 community foodbanks for a whole year.

But That's Not All...

On top of these great causes, we support additional charities and organisations throughout the year with our 10% For The World pledge.

We also fundraise with our incredible community of Ambassadors for fantastic organisations, such as The Winnie Mabaso Foundation and Big Change. Empowering the next generation, no matter their background.
