IT’S ALWAYS AWARD SEASON AT TROPIC

Tropic’s triumphs keep rolling in – in 2022 we’ve won the most awards in our history, and in total, we’ve now collected a whopping 300 awards from the biggest and best names in the industry.   

We’re incredibly excited to share our successes over the past year, building upon the many victories we celebrated in 2021. Having been named the inaugural winners of ‘Best Cruelty Free Brand’ at Marie Claire’s first ever Sustainability Awards last year, we decided to go even bolder in 2022, and we certainly delivered! This prestigious publication rewarded us with not one, not two, but three prizes: the award for Best Ethical Brand, Best Vegan Brand, and Grand Prix D’Excellence for ‘Beauty Gives Back’, recognising our charity partnership with United World Schools 

We’re so thrilled to have our Infinite Purpose – to help create a healthier, greener, more empowered world – reflected in these top accolades. Our customers fund school days for children in Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar and Madagascar with every purchase, empowering children to create better futures through education. And, in an industry that often neglects animals and leaves our planet’s needs by the wayside, we’ll always continue to act against environmental injustice and protect our wildlife as a proudly vegan brand. 

These aren’t the only awards to shout about this year, though. For the second time in a row, we’ve come top of the Carbon Neutral Brand category of the GLAMOUR Power List. And if that wasn’t enough, in 2022 we’ve won an incredible twelve accolades in a range of categories encompassing body care, makeup, and skincare at the Beauty Bible Awards. We thought it might be tough to live up to our 2021 record for the biggest ever number of wins by a single brand, but we were certainly up to the challenge! 

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve scooped up a whopping 22 top prizes at the Beauty Shortlist Baby and Mama Awards! Our products wowed judges across the board, from our skincare, hair care and makeup, to mama and baby care, body care and sun care. 

“What an absolute honour!” said Susie Ma, our founder and CEO, reflecting on the number of awards won this year. “My aim is to make the world a better place than it was when I found it, and for my business to bolster and empower everyone and everything it impacts, as often as possible. The beauty industry is making waves when it comes to conscious cosmetics, and I hope one day we live in a world where a sustainable, ethical approach to business is not rare or unique, but merely standard.” 

With our ethos and products receiving so much recognition, we really want to thank all of you. These victories would never have been achieved without our customers’ constant support and belief in our values, allowing us to make a true difference in the world.
