HOW TO CREATE THE MAKE THEM WINK LOOK WITH AIMEE TWIST AND NICOLE

Pretty, pink, and perfectly pulled together, this shimmery show-stopping look will have all eyes on you, wherever you go.

With pristine brows and a nude lip look that promises to last the evening, makeup artist Aimee Twist wowed the cameras with her creation on Nicole. When asked what she likes to celebrate about herself, Nicole told us “contour is such a classic product for me, I like to think I have nice cheekbones and I love to accentuate and celebrate them with makeup!”

Step by step

STEP ONE

For the base, apply the BEAUTY BOOSTER sheer foundation in Shade 2 (formerly Barely Nude) with the PURE PRECISION beauty drop sponge. Then, add the ILLUMA light-diffusing concealer in Shade 2 (formerly Barley) under the eyes and on any blemishes, blending with your sponge. Remember to adjust your base shades according to your model’s skin tone. 

STEP TWO

Then follow, using your ECO ARTIST kabuki brush, with MINERAL FOUNDATION in Shade 2 (formerly barely nude), before returning to use ILLUMA as a contour. Simply dot the wand along the jawline and cheekbones, then blend again with the sponge. Just like magic, you’ll accentuate the natural contour of the face. Finish acing the base with your SOFT FOCUS perfecting powder in Light, applied using your handy kabuki brush.

STEP THREE

You’ll only need the tiniest bit of this JET SET pressed bronzer in Tahiti Tan (because it’s such a cool-toned colour) to effortlessly contour – it works especially beautifully on pale skin, too! Add a little pop on the cheeks, as it’s quite pigmented, and pair with a stroke of WAY TO GLOW pressed highlighter in Moonlight on the cheekbones. The pointed end of your ECO ARTIST precision face brush is the ideal applicator. Smile in the mirror and add BLUSH CRUSH pressed colour in Rosy Glow to the apples of your cheeks with the powder brush for an instant glow. 

STEP FOUR

To build a finessed and fierce brow, select a shape from your EYEBROW STENCIL KIT and use the ECO ARTIST 3-In-1 eye brush to apply BROW BOSS defining powder in Cedar.

STEP FIVE

To tie the pinky tones together, use the same BLUSH CRUSH pressed colour in Rosy Glow on the eyes as on the cheeks – focusing in the crease of your lid. The large side of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush is perfect for packing on layers of luscious colour and achieving the appearance of a really strong pigment – yeah, she’s versatile!

STEP SIX

With the small side of your flat detailing brush, apply EYES ON YOU pressed shadow in aura to the centre of the eyelids. Then, follow with the same WAY TO GLOW pressed highlighter in Moonlight (that you’ve used previously on the cheekbones) on the centre of the lids and in the inner corners of the eyes. This trick makes the eyes pop and creates a spotlight effect for the irises.

STEP SEVEN

With the slanted end of your 3in1 brush, use the BROW BOSS defining powder in Cedar on the lash line. This will intensify the lashes without adding too much block colour, creating some nice separation between the lashes and the eye. Take that ever-useful Rosy Glow BLUSH CRUSH underneath as well with the flat side of your 3in1 eye brush to add subtle drama to the lash line. Use SILK GEL LINER in Luna on the waterline to make the eyes appear bigger and then gently brush the lashes with the FIXING GEL MASCARA in Black. After one thin coat, apply the EXTENSION FIBRES in Black, then do another coat of mascara on top.  

STEP EIGHT

For pout perfection, use KISS ME QUICK lipstick in Lush Lychee. A little LINE UP lip pencil in Strut and a touch of LIP GLAZE in Velvet Peach will take your bold lip game to new levels. To add some drama, massage a few drops of ELIXIR all over the decolletage and follow with the same highlighter that we’ve used on the face (using the pointed end of your precision face brush) to highlight the shoulders and collarbone. The pigment of the highlighter is intensified by using ELIXIR, for a longer-lasting, sexier shimmer.
