HOW TO CREATE THE DIVA LOOK WITH DANI GUINSBERG AND LAURA

Laura’s lush pink lips and smoky, red carpet eyes give off a real ‘too glam to give a damn’ aura. (this look is labelled 'The Temptress in Glow Issue 3)

By enhancing her natural smile with a pastel shade and tying it into the cheeks, Dani Guinsberg has given Laura an approachable yet dazzling demeanour that will make everyone want to get up and dance with her, day or night!

We’ve recreated many of these looks on different models, in order to show you how to create the same effect but for various skin tones, skin types and face shapes. Alongside your base essentials and tools, you can recreate this look, demonstrated on Laura, with our customisable, sustainable Colour Palette.

When asked what she likes to celebrate about herself, Laura told us “I feel comfortable in my own skin, which is something that just gets even better with time!” 

STEP BY STEP

STEP ONE

Spread an even layer of BEAUTY BOOSTER sheer Foundation in Shade 5 with the PURE PRECISION beauty drop sponge across your face for a glowing, smooth base layer.   

Remove any excess shine and set the face by dusting MAKE IT MATTE setting powder over your skin with the ECO ARTIST powder brush. 

STEP TWO 

To accentuate your brows’ natural shape and stroke in a touch of colour, apply BROW BOSS defining powder in Walnut with the angled end of the ECO ARTIST 3in1 eye brush. 

Then, smudge JET SET pressed bronzer in Bali Bronze along the crease of your eyelid and blend the colour outwards with the large end of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush. 

STEP THREE

Use the small side of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush to apply EYES ON YOU pressed shadow in Meteor to your eyelids.

Next, return to the large side of your ECO ARTIST flat detailing brush and smooth along the line of your eyelid crease so that the two shades melt into one another. 

STEP FOUR

To add the finishing flourish to your radiant eyeshadow, apply a light dusting of JET SET pressed bronzer in Bali Bronze once more below your lower waterline, this time using the ECO ARTIST small detailing brush. This will create a suitably attention-grabbing shimmering glow. Repeat this step with EYES ON YOU pressed shadow in Meteor.

STEP FIVE 

Glide your SILK GEL LINER in Brown along the inside of your water line before running a thin, richly coloured smudge along your top lash line. 

STEP SIX

No Diva is set to interrupt the scene without an accompanying set of thick, luscious lashes! So - ready, get set, sweep! Apply your FIXING GEL MASCARA followed by your EXTENSION FIBRES in Black to your lashes for an enriching, lengthening effect.  

STEP SEVEN

Use the ECO ARTIST powder brush to sweep JET SET pressed bronzer in Bali Bronze  anywhere the sun would normally hit to catch the light – we recommend your forehead, temples and hairline.

Dust BLUSH CRUSH pressed colour in Cheeky Peach onto the apples of your cheeks. 

STEP EIGHT

Last but not least, it’s time to pucker up for that irresistible pout!
