Drumroll please because this was the first ever Tropic product. Created by founder Susie when she was 15, it was a throwback to her time spent in Cairns, Australia where she would make it in her mum’s kitchen using local ingredients. Introducing it to the masses at London’s Greenwich Market, now everyone can get their hands on the body polish that will leave your limbs soft, subtly scented and silky smooth. Full of mineral-rich sea salts to gently scrub away dead skin and citrusy oils that give it a mouth-watering lemon sorbet scent, it’s pure indulgence in a jar and luxury for your body.
Just like the skin on your face, the skin on your body needs exfoliating too. Dryness, dead skin cells and product build-up all needs to be removed so your skin can regenerate, become more resilient and radiate a healthy glow. Providing a gentle physical scrub using mineral rich sea salts that shift dead skin cells without feeling abrasive, the blend of golden jojoba, macadamia and rosehip oils then get to work enriching the skin with moisture. The invigorating experience is completed with the lemon myrtle essential oils that are so uplifting and zesty you’ll want to scoop up another spoon just to get that sensory high. It’s also perfect pre-shave as the oils provide a smooth canvas for your razor to glide along.
This product is freshly made in the UK using the most nutritious, sustainably sourced ingredients from across the globe.
Australian lemon myrtle
Native to Australia, lemon myrtle is a leafy plant that smells divine, especially when it’s been whisked up with bergamot and lime essential oils. It’s also great at rebalancing the skin’s natural oils and is traditionally used as an insect repellent so it doesn’t just get top marks for smelling nice, it’s a grafter too!
Golden Jojoba oil
Light but deeply hydrating, jojoba oil isn’t really an oil at all, it’s a liquid wax that has a similar makeup to our skin’s own sebum. That means our skin does a grand job of absorbing it as it recognises it as its own. It also spreads easily across the skin and is full of vitamins and nutrients that keep skin supple and stretchy.
Macadamia nut oil
Containing oleic acid which moisturises and palmitoleic acid that repairs skin cells and toughens up the cell’s membrane so it’s less susceptible to ageing factors, this precious nutty ingredient is a winner for keeping skin youthful.
