What an amazing year 2019 has been! 

We launched over 100 new products, moved into our state-of-the-art eco HQ, unveiled our new logo and greener packaging, and added another 50 awards to the trophy cabinet, taking our total to 150!


It's also been another year dedicated to our Infinite Purpose:
to help create a healthier, greener, more empowered world. 

Teaching the Unreached

In September we launched our brand new partnership with United World Schools, a charity that work with local communities in some of the world's poorest and remote regions to give every child access to free education. 

We've teamed up with UWS to ensure that every single Tropic purchase, no matter how big or small, goes toward helping these communities. Our donations go toward: 

                                                               - Building new schools and maintaining them
                                                               - Training teachers
                                                               - Classroom essentials
                                                               - Filling libraries with books 
                                                               - Health services such as sanitation

For every collective £50 spent with us, a whole school day in either Cambodia, Nepal or Myanmar is donated.  

Since launching this partnership, we've funded over 350,000 days of education and we’ve even funded a new school in Steung Treng, Cambodia, which opens in February 2020! 

Refillable Products

We are always reviewing whether plastic is vital to our packaging; assessing how we use plastic now and implementing changes to make it more sustainable for the future. 

To combat single use plastics, we launched our entire award-winning, sustainable makeup range, including the completely customisable, refillable Colour Palette, as well as introducing refill options on our bestselling range of serums and oils too. Together, these changes have prevented over 3.5 tonnes of waste entering landfill! 

We’re now looking at how we can apply even more sustainable packaging to the rest of our range without compromise to our naturally effective product range.

Carbon Neutral

Not only are we a certified CarbonNeutral® company for the second year running, we’ve also double offset our carbon emissions - again! We’ve offset our carbon emissions through empowering environmental initiatives, such as:
Supporting the Acre Amazonian Rainforest Conservation project in South America. Projects such as this are supporting local communities to help protect their ecosystems and avoid the destruction of the forest. 

We are also working with the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve in Indonesia. This project works with local communities to protect the forest from conversion to palm oil. Additionally they are rehabilitating Orangutans that have been injured or displaced as a result of palm oil conversion and reintroducing them to their natural environment. 
This year alone, we delivered over $1.1 million worth of value to households, infrastructure and biodiversity.
